Private fund filings
Who is raising private capital, read from the filings themselves. Each issue takes the newest Form D vintage in the corpus and reports the managers that led it, the largest single vehicles, and the totals by strategy and sector. A fund files a Form D within fifteen days of its first sale, under penalty of perjury, which makes these the hardest numbers on the site. Nothing here is written by a machine: every figure is a filing or a count over filings.
